VaultDrive — Offline USB Backup
Information we collect
VaultDrive is designed to keep your data on-device and off the cloud. We do not collect, transmit, or store your photos, videos, documents, or any backed-up content. Specifically:
- No personal files leave your device or USB drive
- No usage analytics, telemetry, or tracking
- No account is required
- No cloud sync or remote storage
How VaultDrive works
VaultDrive transfers files directly between your phone and a connected USB drive (USB-C, Lightning, or similar). All file operations happen locally between your device and the drive — never over the internet.
Diagnostic data (optional)
If you opt-in via your device settings, anonymized crash reports may be shared through the App Store or Google Play. These contain no personal data or file contents. You can disable this at any time in your OS settings.
Your data, your drive
The USB drive you connect is fully under your control. VaultDrive does not encrypt or alter the drive's filesystem unless you explicitly choose to do so. You can disconnect, format, or use the drive with any other device at any time.
